More Information about the units:
The units are about 350m inland from the Salt Rock public beach. The ocean is visible from the patio of all units, you might see the top of the breakers.

Each unit has a basic kitchen for self-catering including a stove, an oven, a microwave oven, kettle, toaster and fridge/ freezer.We provide enough cutlery for the number of guests each unit can accommodate as well as some basic crockery including pots, pans and so on.

Guests should bring additional appliances if needed such as those wanted for dietary requirements like blenders, steamers and filter coffee machines. The equipment provided is strictly "No Frills".

Each unit has braai facilities which may be in disrepair due to the nature of our coastal climate. We will update you on the status of these facilities before arrival while we strive to keep them properly maintained despite the destructive nature of the elements.

A small closed courtyard is attached to each unit and all pets are welcome. The large communal backyard including the pool is ideal for kids and therefore off-limits to unsupervised pets. Our staff are also in attendance during working hours on week days.

Larger dogs, like Alsatians or Labradors, may need to be walked regularly, but smaller dogs, about the size of a Staffordshire Bull terrier and smaller, will have the time of their lives!

Balito, about 5km drive away, offers a more trendy, vibrant beach scene with restaurants on the breakers and some vibey social spots and bars. Our units are also very private, so guests are welcome to entertain friends as there are no policies prohibiting the number of guests per night in a unit. The number of guests listed here will ensure your stay is comfortable.

Private Jacuzzi, Lock-up Garage, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Sea View, Pet-friendly - All units have a patio with a private jacuzzi, alarms, TVs (SABC/ ETV only), DVD players, basic kitchen, single lock-up garage, access to communal pool and all units are located on the same property.

The Salt Rock public bathing beach is netted, is serviced by life guards and the natal sharks board who check the nets daily. The beach has a tidal pool which is ideal for smaller children. The beach attracts intermediate to more experienced surfers as the sea can be rough, but the absence of large rocks in the surfing and swimming areas is notable. Nearby Sheffield beach offers a calmer swimming experience and good fishing spots.
